Cloister capital, moulding from top down comprises: roll, fillet, hollow, fillet roll, fillet, bell, necking roll.

Sedilia capital, moulding from top down comprises: roll-and-fillet, hollow, roll, hollow, fillet, bell, chamfered fillet as necking roll. An unusual capital, with small mouldings crammed at top and a very long bell - indicative of its early fourteenth-century date.

Portlester chapel arcade capital. Moulding from top comprises: abacus, hollow, roll, bell, necking roll. The components are very broad.

Piscina capital, the most complex on the site. Moulding comprises, from top down: abacus, quadrant, fillet, flat surface, scroll with lower fillet, bell, necking chamfered fillet.

Capital of middle niche/sedilia of south nave wall, moulding from top down comprises: chamfer, fillet, hollow, stiff-leaf foliage, bell, necking roll-and-fillet. Here again Early English characteristics are manifest but the niche may date from the later middle ages.

Capital of niche, mouliding comprises from top down: roll-and-fillet, fillet, hollow, quadrant, fillet, hollow, roll with lower fillet, bell. The necking roll is missing.

Round capital of sedilia, from top down moulding comprises abacus, chamfer, hollow, roll, fillet, bell, necking roll. This capital is unusual not only because it is round rather than the usual polygonal shape, but because the moulding elemets are small in scale and finely cut.

Capital of rood screen, from top down moulding comprises: scroll, roll, angle-fillet, scroll with upper and lower fillets, bell with keel, necking-scroll. This capital is very similar to those from the cloister at Holycross and the group related to it - particularly the use of the scroll, roll and angle-fillet in the upper element and the keel in…
