The hood comprises: hollow, free-standing fillet, hollow, fillet and terminates in a frontal fillet. This piscina is close in design to that in the same location at Ennis Franciscan.

The hood, from extrados, comprises: quadrant, hollow chamfer, right-angled rebate, ogee. Ogees often occur in conjunction with this kind of elaborate flame like tracery, as at St. Nicholas, Galway.
