Sixteenth Century Doorway and Window, Galway: The doorway and window were formerly in St. Augustine Street, Galway. The ornament combines late Gothic forms with classical mouldings and Celtic interlacing. After Wilkinison's Practical Geology and Celtic Architecture of Ireland, 1845, p. 158.
